Hunter made the trip down for the MAC series race weekend. The rain was already falling in NJ by the start of the days races. Cold, sleet filled rain with some snow thrown in made it super cold for the race. Hunter stayed in the car right up till race staging and was off without a warm-up. The conditions were miserable, even for cross. The officials, eager to be done with the day, made the race very short. Just over 35 minutes. No one was really complaining.
Hunter started 2nd row and grabbed the holeshot. The course had multiple room-sized icy puddles that had to be ridden thru. The rest of the course was slick, sandy mud. Dealing with the cold was tough, and Hunter rolled thru in 14th place.
