Joe and Hunter traveled up to Ski Ward for the mid-week classic Night Weasels Race. The ski hill course there is all about turning. Short punchy climbs with twisting short descents... Very few sustained pedaling straights. Hunter would end up getting a flat on the far end of the course. He opted to not run to the pit and instead called it a night. Joe also had trouble with his tire, rolling the tubular off slightly in one of the many bumpy corners. He got the tire back on and had to ride the rest of the race lightly. He ends up with 36th out of the crowded combined 123 and 35+ field.
