Cat 4
Dave Larue lined up for the Cat 4 race and scored 21st place while staying out of trouble.
Cat 3
Cosmo, Larry and Joe hit the Hour of Power Cat 3 race. This was Joe K's
first race back from injury. Good to see him out there mixing it up.
Joe nearly took a prime but was caught at the last moment. Larry snagged
a prime and was active off the front. He bridged into a good group with
12 laps to go but as soon as he got there, the wheels came of it and it
was brought back, setting up a sprint. Joe was the top placed for that
at 18th.
40+ Race
Miguel was there flying the colors. This race was fast and a super strong group snuck off the front in the first couple of laps and would not be caught. It certainly made for an interesting day back in the pack. Miguel finished in 40th.
Pro-3
Cosmo stuck around for the extra miles in the Pro race and Hunter was
there too. Hunter was active early on, looking for some chance to get
off the front. After 2 failed attempts he settled in and rode safely in
the pack. Cosmo rode safe in the pack all race as well. A strong break
of 3 riders was caught with 6 to go, setting up a big sprint finish.
There was a crash at the very front of the race with 2 corners left. It
slowed Hunter down a bit and he had to fight for scraps at 26th place
from a field of nearly 100.
