Stephen G wastes no time in getting he first upgrade point! He manages to nab 7th in the dicey conditions on the downtown Hartford course. Steve was forced to do quite a bit of chasing as a breakaway was up the road. He still hung on for 3rd in the field sprint. Dillon P also started but was caught out by 2 crashes in the opening laps and could not make contact with the pack.
Pro-3
Joe, Hunter and Dave all started but none were able to make it the distance. Only 20 riders hung on in the rain to finish this race, so the Cheshire guys had plenty of company as they fought hard. It was to no avail, as the pro riders set an absolutely blistering pace.
