Hunter made the trip down for this FLAT 80 mile circuit race. 10 laps of an 8 mile course. 4 fast corners and a slight uphill sprint made up the course. Average speed was bound to be high and sure enough, over the first 3 laps, it was between 27-30mph. Coming through the start finish area on the 3rd lap, Hunter bridged across to a group of 5 and went straight to work helping the pace along. A couple of other riders bridged up soon after, making an eventual break of about 18 riders. A couple of riders couldn't hang on as the final laps wound down and Hunter ended up sprinting around a couple of guys to take a season best 10th place.
