The CT Series of CX kicked off this weekend with 2 races in the Hartford area. The team was out in in force to try to get some top spots... Here's how they did:
Cat 4/5
Stephen Gibertoni is wrapping up his time in the 4's with a few more CX events. He ended up using his brute strength to take 3rd place and the last step of the podium. Nice job Stephen! Behind him, Shop/Team Mechanic Andy Strauss raced hard to get a great 16th place finish and Zac Hawk was 37th behind him.
Masters 40+
Joe had mechanical troubles thru-out the race but was still able to hang on for 18th.
Cat 3/4
Dave Maynard just missed out on the lead group at the start of the race. He then dropped his chain, taking a few precious moments to correct. He ended up 14th out of 60+ riders and gets some CT Series of CX points in the process.
Pro-3
Hunter P got off to a good start but then dropped his chain on the top of the run-up, losing the lead group for good. He fought the rest of the race just to stay in the chase. he also takes 14th place, good for a Series point.
