The CCNS Kermis, East Hartford CT

The team was out in strong numbers for the Friday night New England classic... The CCNS Kermis. Light rain affected the later races, making for some tense racing!

Cat 4/5

Stephen Gibertoni ended his Cat4 career in style! He raced a great race, sitting patiently for the sprint and making sure he got into good position for the final 2 laps. He takes 3rd! Awesome job Stephen! The always strong Zac Hawk was also there to race and he took 16th place. Also racing in was Dana (30th) and Christian D (34th).

Cat 3/4

Stephen pinned on another number and rolled up to the start of the 3/4 race along with Gregg and Dillon. All 3 raced efficiently at the front, staying out of trouble. There was final sprint carsh which took Stephen off his bike in a minor way. Ahead of him Dillon was the high finisher at 20th place, with Gregg right behind at 23rd.

Masters 40+

Joe K tried a couple of times to get off the front in the Masters Race. While he was back in the fold, recharging for another attack, a break rolled clear with enough strength to stay away. Joe put in a ton of effort to chase but had to settle for 19th place.

Pro-3

Hunter and Dave raced. Hunter took on the roll of patrolling the front as much as possible. He got into a good looking move with about 4 laps to go but it was brought back. That left Dave with the best chance for a high finish as he was awaiting the sprint. He managed to make it through the final lap in good position and takes 11th on the night, with Hunter close behind in 14th.
