Cat 1,2,3
Hunter was the lone rider for the team at the final Bethel series race. Most of the fields were a just little smaller due to Battenkill the day before. Hunter got into a break on the 2nd lap of the race. Initially 6 riders, the break lost riders one by one due to the high pace. Once the Berlin Bikes rider got popped there was little chance for the break as the their strong team in the peleton would go from blocking to chasing. The break, now just Hunter, a Targettraining rider, and Alistair Sponsel, got caught after 10 laps off the front and a max gap of 45 seconds. Hunter was able to grab a cash prime from the break though. After the catch the race was normal till about 17 laps to go. A group snuck off the front followed by a chase group. Hunter was in the chase group till about 7 to go. That was brought back for the final sprint, but not before the lead group of 5 lapped the field. The ensuing confusion let a couple of riders get up the road to fight for the remaining spots in the overall top 10. Hunter ended up with a top 20 spot, with a near top 10 in the field sprint.
Rahway Crit Cat 4
Monty was down in NJ for this straightforward crit. As is often the case with races in NJ, there were 2 main team that dominated the action. Monty rode were he wanted all race long but got boxed in by the teams for the final sprint. He took 22md place
