Quabbin Reservoir Road Race

In a absolutely brutal day to race for 64 miles, a few tough men from the team made it up to Quabbin to race. In a day where a good number of other tough bike racers drove up, took a look, and DROVE HOME, just finishing the race in sub 40 degree temps with constant rain ( and some snow ) was an accomplishment. Many riders dealt with Hypothermia after the race. Props the those that started and props to the Cyclonuats for running a solid event in horrible conditions.

Cat 5

Jordan Lynn WINS! He hit the front after a couple of climbs and was determined to split up the lazy field. Attempt #1 with one other rider was caught after a short bit. Another attack shortly after had 2 guys in it and Jordan jumped into it ( if at first you don't succeed, try and try again ). This break stuck and with the 3 working well together it was good enough to stay the distance. Near the entrance to the reservoir, on one of the last climbs, Jordan accelerated and dropped 1 rider. Then on the final climb Jordan was able to shed the last rider to cross the line alone. A great victory!
Next stop for Jordan: Cat 4

Cat 3 & Masters 45+

Cosmo, Larry M, Tim, and Miguel all have to counted among the worthy. Larry actually pulled off a 20th place in the Cat3 race, which isn't too shabby for any day, let alone one so miserable.
