Sterling Classic Road Race

     The team had mixed results at the always popular Sterling Classic. Larry M rode tough in the Cat3 field and finished mid pack. Dave LaRue finished toward the back of the crowded Cat4 field. In the Pro1,2 event a third of the 90-strong field would end up not finishing. Tim rode up front all race long but came unhitched with a couple of go rounds left. Jordan and Hunter hung tough to the end, with Jordan putting in a brave last-lap effort to try to get across from peleton to the main chase group that had developed. He came up short but was still there at the front of the main field for the finish. Hunter finished 5th in the field sprint, but that was only good for 30th place on the day, due to the chase groups that were allowed to ride off in the last couple of laps.
