Cyclonauts Racers Criterium

The team was out at the Speedway on Saturday. Dillon was out for 2 races to try to rack up the last upgrade points needed for the big jump to Cat3 and Tim was there for the merry-go-round Pro1-3 race

Cat Pro-3

Tim got into an early breakaway and went straight to work within. The break of 12 easily overpowered the  smallish field on the short course and ended up lapping the rest of the race. Tim hung tough in the final sprint and took 8th place.

Cat 3\4 

     Dillon & Cosmo were out for the Cat3\4 race. Cosmo played a great support role to Dillon's sprinting efforts. He chased down attacks and kept things orderly for Dillon. A youngster from Team CF ended up getting off the front to take the victory solo style. Behind him, Cosmo gave Dillon a great leadout, dropping him off after the last corner where Dillon was able to hold on to take 3rd in the field sprint, 4th overall. More points in the bag!

Cat 4\5 

Dillon rode in good position all race long but was foiled in the field sprint by a crash. Had to settle for 16th place.
