Monson Cyclocross

Elite Cat 1 \ 2

Tim and Hunter lined up for the first cyclocross race of the season in Monson Ma. The course was slightly changed for the better and had a couple more features and variations in terrain. It was hot and guys were packing water for just the 45 min races. Tim jetted away from the start and within a quarter lap was in a solid group chasing National-Caliber racer Justine Lindine and one other. Tim had some shoe problems that he worked through and managed to stay locked in that group of 3 guys and come in at 4th place. Hunter started a bit slower as he worked out the cobwebs from the CCNS race he did less then 18 hours earlier. He picked off a couple of guys and passed a couple who got flats on his way to 7th place.
Tim, kicking off the season proper.

Cat 3

Larry Merling also romped out of the gate quickly and led a group of 3 guys for 3 laps before fading back a bit He ended up settling in for 4th place.
