Aetna Silk City Cyclocross

Cat 4/5

The Silk City Race in Manchester would be the first of the year for Stephen, Sean, Dillon and the team's MTB season standout, Zach Hawk. All raced in the 4/5 race with Stephen finishing best among the 4 in 17th place. Sean was right there in 19th. Dillon close behind in 21st and Zach takes 30th despite some mechanical problems during the race. Nice job to all.

Cat 3/4

Sean stayed on to race the next event and he finished in 30th place but got some great laps in. His new Challenge tubulars are dialed in now!

Masters 35+ race

This would be Joe's first non training race of the year and he was eager to really push it in anticipation of the season's other objectives. After making the first group on lap one, He had problems with his saddle and had to settle in for an eventual 11th place. Stephen also doubled up his day by racing the 35+ and he came in toward the back of the field in 16th place. Lot's of laps for the Cheshire guys today!
Joe lost a little something something on the
way to the finish line.

Pro1/2/3 race

Hunter lined up in the slim field of 12 or so to close out the day. He went down in a corner on the top of the course when the rider in front of him overcooked a corner. 3 laps later he would get hit with a front flat and that was the end of his day.
