Joe K, despite battling a cold all week, lined up on this super hot day but was having wheel problems even before the race started.
Joe, who never seems to catch a break with his equipment during cross season was forced to start with a donated wheel that was rubbing brakes for the first 2 laps. He hung on to a very respectable 5th place on the day.
